SPUREN

≫TRACES≪ is an interpretation of Anton Bruckner‘s music – his spherical sounds, monumental tones and atmospheric spaces. The outcome is a full score, drawn and painted on white paper. The score is a map on which and through which the actors move. And wherever they go, they leave traces behind them. Just as every place that we visit, leaves a mark on us. There is a colourful map deep inside us, full of rivers, mountains, valleys and lakes. It is growing constantly and forever changing. We trace the footsteps of those who went before us. And I follow in your footsteps, as I go my own way. Our traces are audible and visible at the same time. They make a sound and open up a space. In this play, we create a space for encounters and invite the audience, to leave behind their own traces in colour. Together we create a map which looks different each and every time. We follow the sounds of Anton Bruckner, build bridges and swim in lakes. We dance on the Traunstein and rejoice with the fairies of the forest.
