SCHÖN UND GUT.

© Michael Watzenig

Sensual, with humour and poetry ≫well and good.≪ the diversity of ecosystems, the urgency of biodiversity and the connection that exists between all living beings. Up there for example there is a flock. Four to five hundred thousand little things flock together and fly into the sky in the summer whereas in the winter they live on the ground. Since they scratch the resin off the bark of trees, to feed themselves, the hundred-footed crawler can lay her eggs here. She herself is a source of food for the Flute mouse, who in turn is hunted by the Canadian Teapot owl. This is a furry slime-like tree scare sporting long hair on its toes, who has to hide his eggs from the salmon-coloured silverfish. The lime in the shell is the perfect food supplement for him. The Fennel rose is only blooming, because the flock spreads its pollen in summer, just like the right bacteria, a carnivorous plant which feeds off the flock. And many other species live in this ecosystem. All of them hang together, how exactly has not yet been fully researched – but we are on it.
