DIE BADEMATTENREPUBLIK

© Julia Sang Nguyen

Raise your voice, let it be heard, make yourself heard. What happens, however, when this basic right is suddenly lost? To defy a monstrous danger two players have founded a state and invite the audience to become the very first citizens. Based on the children's non-fiction book ≫The Bathmat Republic≪ by Valerie Wyatt, with their audience two actors plunge into an adventure of intergalactic proportions - testing social coexistence in a playful manner, determining who makes the decisions, and basically taking up the challenge of saving the world. Embedded in an exciting story, they experience the encouraging feeling of being part of a society, for which it is worth raising your voice – and worth it to fight for this fundamental right.
